Governance

Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte is a public institution operating under the supervision of the Prime Minister. Its governance is overseen by a Board of Directors, which monitors both the operations of Œuvre and Loterie Nationale. The national lottery, created in 1945, was established to fund Œuvre’s philanthropic missions.

All profits generated by Loterie Nationale are transferred to Œuvre Nationale and redistributed to support public-interest projects throughout Luxembourg.
